Tradition and passion for exceptional single malt whisky from Bavaria. Our classic matures for several years in selected Spanish sherry casks until it is finally bottled as a full-bodied, fruity whisky. 100% made in Germany
Distillery notes:
Our Peated Single Malt Whisky “08/15” got its name because of the distillation date in August 2015. This smoked ham 🙂 matured for 5 years in an ex-bourbon cask and was allowed to mature for a further 3 years in a 225l port wine cask. As always, here are the tasting notes for you:

Very fruity, dirty smoke that becomes more like wood smoke over time, blackberries, currants, cherries, then creamy vanilla and some sweet citrus

Strong, essential oils, coniferous wood, wood smoke (burning fir naum), again the berry notes, nice spice

Long, warming, smoke wafts around in your mouth for a long time
